Crude oil · Refined products · LPG

Hydrocarbons.

We source crude oil, refined products and LPG from West African producers and refining hubs globally, and deliver into West African distribution and international demand centres on FOB, CIF and CFR terms. Quality is the entire game — we work only with certified loading terminals and independent inspection on every cargo.

Approach.

Long-term offtake plus opportunistic spot. Sealed-compartment custody-transfer mass-flow measurement at loading. Banking-backed cargo financing on every shipment. Independent quantity and quality inspection at both load and discharge.

Raw VHP · Refined ICUMSA grades

Sugar.

Raw VHP and refined ICUMSA-45 sugar from Brazil, India, Thailand and the European refining belt, into West African and Indian demand centres on CIF, CFR and ex-warehouse terms. Price risk is hedged on ICE NY11 (raw) and ICE LIFFE white sugar (refined) as appropriate to the contract.

Direct mill relationships at origin. Verified loading certificates and SGS quality on every cargo. Tolerance bands documented in every contract. Discharge inspection by independent surveyor — no quality disputes settled on bilateral negotiation alone.

Raw Cashew Nuts · Processed kernels

Cashew.

Raw Cashew Nuts (RCN) sourced direct from Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire, Tanzania and Mozambique with traceability from cooperative weighbridge to container, plus processed kernels graded W180–W450 for confectionery, retail and industrial buyers in the EU, US and Middle East.

Approach.

Cooperative-level engagement at origin. Pre-shipment inspection on every lot — moisture, KOR (kernel out-turn ratio), nut count, defective percentage, foreign matter. Documented chain of custody from gate to container. Producer paid against the documented lot, not an opaque pool.

LBMA-route doré · Refined bars

Gold (Au).

Responsibly sourced doré from Ghana's licensed producer channel, refined exclusively through LBMA Good Delivery accredited partners in Dubai and Zürich, settled into vault accounts in Dubai, Zürich, Singapore and Hong Kong for institutional buyers in Asia and Europe.

OECD Due Diligence Guidance on every parcel. LBMA Responsible Gold Guidance compliance. Refining only via LBMA Good Delivery accredited counterparties. Full chain-of-custody documentation. We do not transact in artisanal-and-small-scale-mining (ASM) flows that fall outside the licensed channel.

Grade specifications and trade terms.

Grade specifications and inspection.

Every contract IJA signs carries an explicit grade specification, a tolerance band, and an inspection regime. The specification is referenced to a recognised standard (ICUMSA for sugar, EN590 for diesel, LBMA Good Delivery for gold, AFI for cashew kernels). Tolerance bands are written into the contract in advance, not negotiated after loading. Inspection is performed by independent surveyors at both load and discharge, and quality disputes are settled by the surveyor's certificate, not by bilateral negotiation.

Trade terms.

We accept all standard Incoterms 2020 — FOB, CIF, CFR, EXW, DAP — sized to the route and the counterparty's preferred risk-bearing point. Payment is by confirmed letter of credit, structured pre-export finance, or documented receivables-backed lending depending on counterparty profile and corridor.
