Quality assurance.
Rigorous, documented standards. Every product leaving our warehouses meets or exceeds industry benchmarks. Pre-shipment inspection, independent quality verification, and certificate-of-analysis discipline on every cargo.
At the core of our business philosophy is unwavering reliability and integrity. Clients can trust IJA Commodities for transparent transactions, timely deliveries, and a commitment to ethical business practices.
Sustainability in physical commodity trading is not a marketing question. It is a documentation question. Where did the product come from? Who handled it? What was tested? What was paid? Who was paid? If you can answer those questions on every shipment, you are sustainable. If you can't, no amount of language will make you so.
We have built the operating model around making those answers available — to ourselves, to our auditors, and to any buyer who needs to satisfy their own diligence requirement.
Rigorous, documented standards. Every product leaving our warehouses meets or exceeds industry benchmarks. Pre-shipment inspection, independent quality verification, and certificate-of-analysis discipline on every cargo.
Gold sourced through Ghana's licensed producer channel and refined exclusively via LBMA Good Delivery accredited partners. Cashew sourced from named cooperatives and licensed aggregators with cooperative-level traceability. Hydrocarbons loaded only at certified terminals with sealed-compartment custody-transfer.
Every counterparty is screened: KYC, AML, sanctions screening (OFAC, EU, UN), politically-exposed-person checks, and ongoing transaction monitoring. Bank lines are tier-1 only. We do not transact via opaque intermediaries.
Banking-backed transactions, full chain-of-custody documentation, audit trail on every shipment, and independent inspection on every cargo. We document what we ship and we ship what we document.
For gold, we operate within the LBMA Responsible Gold Guidance framework and the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas. Every doré parcel is sourced from licensed producers, screened for high-risk indicators, and refined only by LBMA Good Delivery accredited counterparties. Refined bars are settled into vault accounts against documented chain of custody.
For cashew and other agricultural commodities, traceability is cooperative-level: every lot carries the cooperative ID, the weighbridge ticket, the moisture and KOR readings, and the SGS quality certificate. Producers are paid against the documented lot, not against an opaque pool. Producer-side investment goes into cooperative training and quality programmes that improve the next crop's yield and outturn.
For hydrocarbons, product is loaded only at certified terminals, with sealed compartments, custody-transfer mass-flow measurement, and independent inspection on every cargo. Quality and quantity disputes go to independent arbitration via the surveyor's certificate, not to bilateral negotiation.
Refining only via Good Delivery accredited counterparties. Source-of-funds and source-of-gold checks on every parcel. Annual third-party assurance.
Five-step framework on minerals from conflict-affected and high-risk areas. Risk identification, risk management, third-party audit, public reporting.
Every cargo specified to a documented ICUMSA grade. Tolerance bands written into the contract; loading and discharge tests by independent surveyor.
European-grade gasoil at 10ppm sulphur. Independent inspection at load and discharge. Sealed-compartment custody transfer.
Association of Food Industries grading for kernel size, count and defects. Pre-shipment inspection on every lot.
All physical contracts written under standard Incoterms 2020 — clear allocation of risk, cost and delivery point between counterparties.
